Growing Roots Forest School CIC based in Sonning Common, South Oxfordshire. Dedicated to fostering a strong connection between individuals and the natural world through engaging, hands-on activities.

Rooted in the Forest School ethos, we provide inspiring, hands-on sessions tailored to various age groups and abilities that encourage curiosity, creativity, resilience, and confidence. Every programme is thoughtfully designed to help participants build lasting connections with the natural world, themselves, and those around them through exploration, discovery, and play.

We believe that some of life’s most valuable lessons are learned beneath the trees. That’s why we create safe, welcoming, and inclusive spaces where everyone can develop practical skills, nurture their wellbeing, and flourish at their own pace. Our aim is not only to inspire a lifelong love of the outdoors but also to help every individual leave feeling more confident, capable, and deeply connected to nature.
